I thought I could interview some models so that new woman and men trying to get into the field can get some input about what it is they are getting into and what they can expect.
1. What is your name and age? 16
2. How long have you been modeling? Little over 2 years
3. What caught your interest in modeling? Love fashion
4. How much experience do you have modeling? Still learning but I have a lot of experience in all aspects of modeling except runway
5. Who have you worked with? Wow, asking that isn’t an easy question because there are so many people. It would be easier to answer who I haven’t worked with.
6. How did you get into modeling? I did a photo shoot just for the fun of it with Chris Gray from Birmingham. He was really nice and I just ended up loving it.
7. Do you have any unusual talents? Hmmm, not really anything I can think of.
8. What was the most memorable shoot you have done and with who? It would have to be Paul Carlisle because I truly had no idea what I was getting myself into but I had a great time.
9. What kind of modeling have you done? Just about anything except for lingerie and nude lol
10. What do you think of all the Aspiring models starting to make an appearance? I think they are going into modeling thinking it will be really glamorous and they will be pampered princesses and that just isn’t how it really is. It is or at least can be really hard work.
11. What kind of advice can you give new or aspiring models about what to expect? Be willing to be at your shoots or castings on time or early, try and go into each shoot with an open mind and see the vision the photographer has too. Don’t try to be a diva there are way too many of those already. The biggest thing I would say is don’t prove to be a flake who thinks if something better comes along you just won’t show up. This will ruin you before you have gotten started.
